【Universal Tourism Project】

With the aim of realizing universal tourism in Japan using the Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai as a gateway, we will develop the creation of tours throughout Japan that will serve as a model for the reception and distribution of culture and the arts by people with disabilities and access to culture and the arts by all.

Monitoring Tour

We plan and conduct a monitoring tour for people with disabilities and their caregivers to view the performances and regional attractions. And, we compile reports on the travel itineraries and new findings for reasonable accommodation.

Day 1
– Arriving in Hokuto city, Yamanashi by JR
– Appreciating barrier-free theater festival

Day 2
– Sightseeing the Japan heritage sites
– Joining the barrier-free study group

Day 3
– Appreciating barrier-free theater festival
– Leaving Hokuto city by JR

*Local transportation is by a large lift-equipped bus that is wheelchair accessible.
