/ Overview

The festival will be held at the Aina Iwate Prefectural Information Exchange Center in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture as the main venue. "ART BRUT- Humanity and Nature in Japan-" will be held at the gallery. In addition to excellent works from all over the country, we will exhibit sculptural works created from the nature and climate of the Tohoku block. Performing arts performance will be screened by pre-recorded performances by disabled groups. Barrier-free plays, barrier-free movies, and introductions to Agriculture ☓ Welfare ☓ Food initiatives are also scheduled to be screened. In addition, a reproduction panel of the work will be exhibited at the Morioka City Sakanacho Shopping Street.

We are working on barrier-free. For more information, see "To ensure everyone can participate" at the end of the site.

Performance
“Helen Keller”
Performance Organization
Tokyo Theatre Company KAZE

This is a barrier-free play by Theater Company KAZE which participants can enjoy together, regardless of disabilities.

To everyone looking for their own tomorrow
This new barrier-free theater attempt began in 2018. For the deaf and hard of hearing, subtitles are displayed on the background screen, and the stage sign language interpreter supplements the stage expression with movements assimilated with the actor on the stage. In addition, for visually impaired people who are blind and hard to see, audio guides will be played openly at the venue to ensure access to information in a way that creatively supplements the progress of the story.
Barrier-free theater attempts are still in their infancy.
The word "barrier-free" in theater has the meaning of unleashing our feelings above all else. Everyone, please enjoy the stage where a new wind is coming.
